Brazilian desserts are a category all on their own, as they are some of the best desserts you’ll ever have. At Golden Bull Steakhouse in Vineyard Haven, pastry chef Bruna Oliveira creates all the desserts in house. She puts all her time in effort into making sure the desserts not only are presented beautifully but taste amazing. This Brazilian Flan was the true definition of what a flan should be: silky custard with a light vanilla flavor and caramel pan sauce that drapes over it. A dessert that originated in the Roman Empire, it has since traveled to Spain and made itself at home. From there, the Spaniards shared the dish with the world and the rest is history. It’s fantastic that we can have this authentic Brazilian dessert right on Martha’s Vineyard!
