Legendary Jam Band moe. Grammy Winner Tedeschi-Trucks Lead Beach Road “350” Lineup

Songs take you on a trip of adventure, melancholy, memory, and nostalgia. Beach Road Weekend “350” aims to be a music- filled adventure that is sorely needed after a year like no other.
Produced by the Martha’s Vineyard Concert Series, with support from Innovation Arts & Entertainment, Beach Road “350” returns to the island after a year’s hiatus due to the pandemic.
Launched in 2019, the festival has been redesigned to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the founding of the Town of Tisbury.
The celebration starts with the legendary band moe. on Friday night, July 23 at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Vineyard Haven.
For three decades, moe. has been revered for its unmatched musical interaction, unique delivery, and meaningful lyrics.
The group of five turn ordinary words and phrases into meanings that are distinctly their own with poignant observation and unexpected lyrics at precisely the right time. The band plays for the fans, not the critics, and yet the band is hailed by both.
On Saturday, July 24, and Sunday, July 25, Tedeschi Trucks Fireside Live, a Grammy- winning blues/rock band will rock Veteran’s Memorial Park. Their songs, with emotional resonance, fit the singers and vice versa.
The band is led by married couple Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks. Their debut album in 2011, Revelator, won the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album. Since then, the back has released four studio and two live albums.
As circumstances currently prevent the 12-piece ensemble from safely touring, some 4-8 band members will appear at the two events. Still, the band’s Saturday show sold out in under 24 hours.
“We were blown away by the response after we announced the festival would be returning this year,” said Adam Epstein, President and CEO of Innovation Arts & Entertainment. “We have seen that people are ready to celebrate live music once again and we can’t wait to safely welcome everyone back to MV for three incredible nights of music.”
