FRIDAY, AUGUST 31st

 

 

Lampost – Live Entertainment on the Porch from 5 to 8 pm followed by Dj D dub at 10 pm. The place with three floors of fun & the biggest dance floor on the island. Seafood Shanty – DeeJay Ricky Prime – The islands best known DJ spins at his former and now current

stomping grounds. Party like its 2016 at the Shanty with DJ Ricky Prime starting at 10pm. Check out the huge outdoor deck with stunning views of the harbor which are just as amazing at night.

 

The Wharf –  The Conniption Fits   – Back by popular demand. This is a must see band that will be playing all weekend. The Conniption Fits is a high energy modern rock band. They have had songs on MTV, ESPN’s X-Games, CBS’s Vans Triple Crown as well as national radio, and have been tapped as an opening act for Kings Of Leon, Train, Weezer, Panic at the Disco, The Wallflowers, Young The Giant, Kongos, and more. The Conniption Fits original sound has been compared to the music of Eve6, Jimmy Eat World, Green Day, Foo Fighters meets u2, The Police and David Bowie. While they draw on a wide variety of influences, they manage to carve out a unique, pop rock sound. The Conniption Fits have combined their years of studio and stage performances in developing a chemistry that solidifies them as a mainstream, American band.

Lampost – LAST NIGHT OF THE UPSTAIRS DANCE DANCE FLOOR …FOREVER! The oldest attraction in Oak Bluffs besides the Flying Horses, the Lampost Dance Floor is closing for good. Come re-live your past…or your past mistakes. Or, you still have time to make some new ones. Labor Day weekend is it. Dj Bluto is shutting it down. There may be some surprises or special guests. Doors open 10 pm. Live music on the porch all weekend 6-9.

Lampost – Adam’s Porch Party from 5 to 9pm. Adam has a unique way of engaging the audience. find out how and hang out on the porch for a musical party with Adam. Followed by Jiggy Sunday’s upstairs (admission is FREE) with Reggae dancing and beat music with music by DJs D real Dubz & City One Sounds. If that’s not your pace go up or down a floor. There are three to choose from at the islands largest and only true nightclub. Now serving food and with a great place to eat it overlooking the comings and goings below on the new outdoor deck.
